Easter Math Review Freebie

I don't have class pics of this yet, but wanted to post it for all of you last minute planners (like myself).

Easy prep math fun!  Print out the math slips 1-10 on the first page 11-20 on the second.  Copy the recording sheet (double sided).  Cut and place the slips into eggs and hide in room, or have in a basket.  Students can work in pairs, groups, independently.  It can be a competition or not!  Click {HERE} to grab your freebie!

Oh!  and I wanted to share that the family whom I'm donating my proceeds to (for the fallen officer-read more here)  Lyndsey had her baby today, Brad Jr.  Mom and baby are doing well. Thanks again for all of your support too!  I can't wait to give them a donation to their family.  (And-just to clarify, I do NOT know this family at all.  I only have heard things through a friend on Facebook--of course!)  Article about the birth {HERE}.

Easter Bunny Application

Hi friends!  Have you all read this great book?!

Ohmiword!  If you haven't you HAVE to!  I got it from scholastic this year---it's probably too late for you to order it in time for Easter this year.  I just break out in full giggles just thinking about the book!

This week's theme is bunnies, of course!  I whipped up an Easter Bunny application to use with this book-though it can be used with any or none!  Click {here} to grab your copy!

**I fixed the blatant error on page 2!  I'm SO sorry for that!  My editing eyes were quite tired...**

Also, I wanted to thank all of you who are supporting the Fox Family with the purchase of my Sentence Writing Boot Camp!  Click {here} for the blog post or on the picture to go to my TPT store (or here for TN).  The proceeds from this packet will go to the family!!!  As of now, I have about $200 sold to donate to the family!  You ROCK!

Thanks for following me!  If you're not---make sure to follow me so you don't miss other great downloads/freebies! :)

Winners!

What a week.  I said I was going to announce a winner last night, but that obviously didn't happen.  My little guy came down with a fever and wasn't himself.  :(  He stayed home with daddy today because it is SO much easier for a nonteacher to stay home, than get things ready for a sub!  (Though, of course all I wanted to do was be home snuggling with my baby today....)  He seems to be feeling better.  We shall see.  I'm SO over this winter and ready for spring.  Tired of the fevers and illnesses... I want some fresh, WARMER air!  It's springtime----and we've had more flurries this week than all winter.  And they are calling for snow on Monday?!  geesh...

Okay-back on topic.  Sorry!  I chose 2 winners with the random generator---Congrats to 4 and 6---Jennifer Reck (I didn't realize how many Jennys there were that commented!  Wow! Jenny---email me your email so I can get you the packet) and Lori!  I'll be emailing you the deets on how to get the packet... apparently it's too big to email you!  oops! =)

I still have my packet on sale through the weekend if you are interested!  click the pic to see it at my TPT store!

We had the Munschies! (Robert Munsch book study!)

Hi y'all!  I have been SO out of it the past few weeks.  I must apologize and thank all of y'all for sticking around!  We've had crazy weather, complete with a snow day----get this---with NO SNOW!!!  Today, we left with snow on the ground, and came home with windows open in the car.  Add in a special (now) SEVEN year old's birthday party this past weekend.... I'm BEAT!  (and there's no stopping-cause we have Easter and then my soon-to-be THREE year old's party/birthday in April!

I want to just share with you what we've been up to.  I L.O.V.E. Robert Munsch.  If you have never read one of his books, you need to.  My kids were so engaged and having fun, that we turned it into a 2 week deal!  We worked on Problem/Solution with every book.  We created 2 class books in response to 2 stories and we also wrote our own "how to" stories complete with some onomatopoeia (that I also turned into a book to send home for families to share and read!)!  We also completed 2 different math activities (I'll post about later, since I forgot to snap pics of it!!!)  However, my favorite thing that we did was make a "photo book" of his stories!   (I'm holding on to these to have out for our Open House in May.  They are just THAT precious!!!)  Take a peek at some of the cuteness!

Did you know that if you write to him "he" writes back?  Last year, he sent a story where he put in the kids' names into the story!  I photocopied it for each student to have as a special keepsake!  (NOTE: make sure they write their names NEATLY---or they won't be included!)

I have uploaded this packet to TPT.  Click here to read more about it!

Thanks again friends, for keeping with me!  Your emails and comments really do mean the world to me!  Leave me a comment about your favorite Robert Munsch book below and I'll pick a few winners to have my set!  All that I do ask is that you follow my blog.  I'll announce the winners on Thursday night!
